Service Detail

What Emergency Response Means for Your Property

Emergency response gives members someone local to send when a call, storm, or neighbor report raises a concern. Proctor's HomeWatch can assess visible damage, photograph the situation, secure obvious access problems, and help coordinate the next step so the owner is not making decisions blind.

A fast first look can prevent a small event from becoming a larger loss. After a storm, break-in, failed gate, or water intrusion concern, owners need dated photos, a clear condition summary, and someone local who can tell them what needs immediate attention.

Best Fit

  • Members who live hours away from their Lake Gaston or coastal property
  • Storm-prone homes, rentals, and investment properties
  • Owners who need a trusted local response before scheduling repairs
  • Situations where the property may need to be secured quickly

Examples Include

  • Storm damage
  • Fallen trees
  • Fence failures
  • Gate failures
  • Break-ins or vandalism
  • Water intrusion concerns
  • Safety hazards

If permanent repairs can't be completed immediately, we'll secure the property and help coordinate the next steps.

Questions About Emergency Response

What Owners Usually Ask Before They Start

Is Emergency Response Available to Non-Members?+

Members receive priority scheduling. Non-member response may be available depending on workload, location, and the nature of the request.

Do You Replace Emergency Services?+

No. For fire, active break-ins, medical emergencies, or life-safety issues, call 911 first. Home watch response is for property assessment, photos, and non-emergency stabilization.

What Happens After You Arrive?+

We photograph the condition, contact you with findings, and discuss next steps. If temporary securing or contractor coordination is appropriate, we explain options before proceeding.
